Charles Wade Jr.

	Charles Cabby Wade Jr., age 76, of Pinckneyville, died Friday, May 4, 2001 at 2:45 a.m. in the Pinckneyville Community Hospital.
	Cabby was born in Pinckneyville on February 15, 1925, the son of Charles K. Wade Sr. and Lorraine B. (Clergy) Wade.  He married Nancy Ann Rushing on June 11, 1949 at the United Methodist Church in Pinckneyville and she survives.  He was a coal miner for over 40 years, a member of the United Mine Workers of America and of the Methodist faith.
	Survivors include his wife:  Nancy of Pinckneyville, two sons:  Charles M. Wade and his wife Paula of Carbondale and Thomas Bart Wade of Cutler, a daughter:  Pamela Folden and her husband Tom of Pinckneyville, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
	Graveside funeral services were held on Saturday, May 5 at 1 p.m. in the IOOF Cemetery, Pinckneyville, with Dr. Robert Smith officiating.
	Memorials may be made to the Pinckneyville Health Care Center Activity Fund.
